# Method

Each company's homepage was loaded in a rendering browser in September and October 2026, and the HTML, script URLs and cookies were matched against Installmap's fingerprint rules with `scrapers/detect.py`.

HubSpot counts when the page loads a script from `js.hs-scripts.com` (or a regional `js-na*.hs-scripts.com` host) or `js.hs-analytics.net`, sets the `hubspotutk` cookie, or embeds a HubSpot form or chat widget.

The base for each list is the domains that returned a page. A site with two marketing automation tools counts once for each in the category totals, so "share of category installs" is a share of detections, not of companies.

The Tranco group is a 1,572 domain sample of the Tranco top 10,000. Segments under 20 domains are not published.
