Installmap vs Datanyze
What each one is
Installmap publishes the share of each list of companies that runs each piece of software. The lists crawled as sets are the Inc 5000, Y Combinator companies, the Fortune 500, unicorns, SaaS companies and the Tranco top 10,000. Each company homepage is loaded in a headless browser and matched against known fingerprints for analytics, CRM and marketing automation, advertising, chat, e-commerce, consent and hosting tools. The denominators, the crawl dates and the method are published.
Datanyze (datanyze.com): A B2B contact data tool built around a Chrome extension that reveals email addresses and phone numbers from LinkedIn profiles and company websites, with contacts and companies tagged into lists.

Notes on Datanyze
The pricing FAQ states that one credit is one contact information reveal, used through the Chrome extension or the Datanyze directory pages.
The FAQ states that when the trial ends, Lite users lose access to details they had already revealed unless they upgrade.
The help centre page contradicts the pricing page: it describes a single Nyze Pro at 90 credits a month, while the pricing page lists two Pro tiers at 80 and 160.
Nothing on the pages read describes technology detection or a company technology lookup, so those cells are marked check.
How Datanyze was read
The Datanyze column comes from datanyze.com/pricing, read on 3 September 2026 and 5 September 2026 with no account. A cell reads "check" where the figure is not on those pages. The Installmap column is generated from the crawl when the page is served; the method page carries the sample, the funnel and the failure counts.
