What each one is
Installmap publishes the share of each list of companies that runs each piece of software. The lists crawled as sets are the Inc 5000, Y Combinator companies, the Fortune 500, unicorns, SaaS companies and the Tranco top 10,000. Each company homepage is loaded in a headless browser and matched against known fingerprints for analytics, CRM and marketing automation, advertising, chat, e-commerce, consent and hosting tools. The denominators, the crawl dates and the method are published.
Wappalyzer (wappalyzer.com): A technology lookup service that reports the technologies, company details and contact data behind a website, and builds prospect lists filtered by technology, keyword, market position and geography.

Notes on Wappalyzer
The pricing page states that API credits included in plans expire after 60 days and credits bought in bundles expire after 365 days.
The free tier is stated as 50 lookups and email verifications a month, 5 website alerts and free sample lead lists.
CRM enrichment is listed on Business and Enterprise and is not listed on Pro.
The lead lists page returned a browser error to automated fetching, so list size caps and export format could not be read and are marked check.
How Wappalyzer was read
The Wappalyzer column comes from wappalyzer.com/pricing/, wappalyzer.com and wappalyzer.com/lookup/, read on 3 September 2026 and 5 September 2026 with no account. A cell reads "check" where the figure is not on those pages. The Installmap column is generated from the crawl when the page is served; the method page carries the sample, the funnel and the failure counts.
