Installmap vs HG Insights

What each one is

Installmap publishes the share of each list of companies that runs each piece of software. The lists crawled as sets are the Inc 5000, Y Combinator companies, the Fortune 500, unicorns, SaaS companies and the Tranco top 10,000. Each company homepage is loaded in a headless browser and matched against known fingerprints for analytics, CRM and marketing automation, advertising, chat, e-commerce, consent and hosting tools. The denominators, the crawl dates and the method are published.

HG Insights (hginsights.com): A B2B revenue intelligence platform combining firmographic, technographic, technology spend and buyer intent data with market sizing, account scoring and sales research modules.

Notes on HG Insights

The pricing page states that no pilot and no free trial plan is currently available.

The homepage states that RGI Fabric covers 40M+ companies with firmographic, technographic and spend data.

Access is by demo request or by contacting sales; there is no self-serve lookup.

No dollar figure appears anywhere on the public pages read, so every quantitative cell except the contract term is quote-only.

How HG Insights was read

The HG Insights column comes from hginsights.com and its pricing page, read on 3 September 2026 and 5 September 2026 with no account. A cell reads "check" where the figure is not on those pages. The Installmap column is generated from the crawl when the page is served; the method page carries the sample, the funnel and the failure counts.
