2. BuiltWith

A website technology profiler that detects what a site runs and builds lists of sites by detected technology, keyword or spend. It also holds historical technology records and pushes lists into CRMs. Individual site lookups are free forever, but the list of sites running a technology is what the $295 plan meters, and no sample or failure count is published.

3. StackShare

A public directory of developer and AI tools plus company tech stack profiles that companies and developers submit. Each tool page carries a description, pros and cons, alternatives and an adoption tab. Company stack profiles are free to read, but they are submitted rather than detected, so no share and no sample sits behind them.
